The School of Intergenerational Healing is designed by and for Indigenous people who want to recondition their nervous system for more joy, peace, and vitality. Our first cohort is for women only, with all-gender cohorts starting later on. This includes:
Women feeling burned out, anxious, or emotionally flat
Women managing chronic health issues or stress-related illness
Women who feel strong on the outside, but exhausted inside
Women ready to feel joy, connection, and vitality again
For those who identify as a different gender or are non-Indigenous, sign up for this waitlist.

No. The School of Intergenerational Healing and our 4-step FEEL method is for anyone with a nervous system that feels off—whether from trauma, burnout, anxiety, relationship stress, chronic stress, or just life in a society that demands too much.
-
No. Our 4-week program where we teach our original FEEL Method is not therapy—it’s a self-healing practice rooted in neuroscience, somatics, and Indigenous values. You don’t need a diagnosis or therapist to participate. Many women use our 4-step process alongside therapy or other healing tools, but it stands on its own as a nervous system reconditioning method.
-
No. We don’t ask you to relive or retell painful stories.
While trauma may explain how our nervous systems got wired for survival mode, we don’t focus on the past—we recondition your body and mind to feel safe and more relaxed in the present.
Our 4-step FEEL process is about what’s happening now in your thoughts, feelings, body, and focus—and how to shift that toward peace. -
Our program was created by Indigenous women, for Indigenous women—using an innovative hybrid model, we combine the best of Western neuroscience with Indigenous values to create profound results.
The School of Intergenerational Healing and our original 4-step FEEL Method is Indigenous not because it uses ceremony or language from one nation—it’s Indigenous because it’s built on and is an expression of Indigenous values of interconnection, healing in community, and restoring balance in the individual’s body, heart, mind, and spirit.
Unlike traditional Western medicine or therapy that often pathologizes unpleasant emotional or physical states, we see those states as an imbalance of the nervous system and neurology. We also do not separate the emotional from the physical, and we don’t separate the emotional and physical from the economic.
We also teach epigentics, which is essentially using the language of Western science to describe the interconnectedness of the generations, which Indigenous people have always focused on.
-
Our 4-step FEEL Method—developed by our Indigenous founder & hypnotherapist Danielle Forward—is based on evidence-backed practices from neuroscience, somatic psychology, and trauma research. We incorporate:
🫀 Heart coherence breathwork & HRV
💭 Mental rehearsal + visualization
🙏🏽 Gratitude-based neuroplasticity
🧘🏽♀️ Somatic awareness + polyvagal-informed tools
These have all been shown to reduce anxiety, lower cortisol, improve immune function, and retrain the brain toward positive emotional states. Our 4-step FEEL method weaves them together into a culturally grounded, simple daily practice.
-
Yes. Chronic stress and unresolved survival mode drive inflammation and worsen most illnesses—from autoimmune flares to gut issues, chronic pain, hormonal imbalance, and fatigue. Research shows
While FEEL is not a medical treatment, participants often report:
Less pain and tension
More energy and clarity
Better sleep
Calmer digestion
Fewer emotional crashes
This is because FEEL helps lower cortisol, boost oxytocin, and regulate your nervous system, creating the internal conditions where healing becomes more possible.
-
Our virtual program runs for 4 weeks, with weekly live sessions (which are recorded), short daily prompts, and optional community connection.
The FEEL practice itself takes as little as 5-10 minutes a day—and can be done anywhere, anytime. We will offer an optional 2-day in-person retreat in Austin, TX, with details to be determined.
We may offer an in-person program in the future by request. -
Yes. As a 501c3 nonprofit, we will offer scholarships and flexible payment plans to ensure cost is never a barrier, while still making things sustainable for us as an organization. You'll receive details when the application opens.
